BeADK was established by Melissa Wilson, who is a NYS Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She obtained a Certification in Meditation and Psychotherapy after completing an Intensive Program in 2015 through The Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy. Mindfulness practice teaches us ways to return to the present moment, again and again with gentle awareness, allowing us to tune in more deeply to ourselves.​Mindfulness practice can improve quality of life with many research-based benefits: Reduces stress & anxiety levels Improved memory and creativity Increased attention span Improved circulatory health Improved sleep quality Improved sense of well-being.
